3A-"S"shaped & loose curls
3A curls have a unique texture! Some of your hair will have an S-shape pattern, and some of it might be a bit pulled out. The goal is defined curls that aren't weighed down. Raking and scrunching the products through your curls with your fingers is the best way evenly distribute the product.

3B-Coarser & tighter curls
3B curls have the circumference of a Sharpie. These curls are prone to dryness, so choosing products that eliminate that is key! For example, curl milks, hair oil and detangling creams are great to help lock in moisture.

3C- Pencil shaped & thickly packed curls
3C curls are tighter than 3B curls. Think of the circumference size of a straw or pencil. These curls are tightly packed and layered together. Unfortunately, 3C curls are prone to dry breakage because there are so many strands of that make up the texture. Spraying water, using rich curl creams and hair oil will help with the dry breakage.
